This year we have adult baptisms. Pastors from different churches including the bishop of Oxford will join together in baptising adults by immersion in Broad Street. It’s a real oppertunity to invite guests to come and see what’s happening.
This Year, we are expecting more churches to get involved. Come and be part of thousands of worshippers in the city of Oxford. There will be BIG VIDEO SCREENS this year to help everyone to see what’s going on. Hope 08 - on the Streets in HeadingtonMonday, April 28th, 2008Hope ‘08 is about transforming lives and community. A national initiative, it’s being organised across many of the Christian churches. ‘Hope’ is about serving and communicating with the 58 million people of the United Kingdom. ‘Hope’ is about facilitating intensified, united, focused prayer and a year of activities, communicating the Gospel through words and actions, creating a lasting legacy of both physical and spiritual change in the lives of communities and individuals. On Saturday 3rd May we are heading out onto the streets of Headington to share the love of Jesus in a simple and real way - handing out chocolate and water. If you’re in a KG and you’d like to be involved or even if you’re not, then meet at 10:30am at the Myatts.
