RSS 1.0 provides news feeds which can be read in a news browser

RSS 2.0 is a different standard to RSS 1.0, but “basically the same thing”

Atom is a new format for news feeds with whiz-bang features which we don’t currently use

WAP is for viewing the site through your mobile phone.

Podcasts allow you to use the free iTunes MP3 player from Apple to subscribe to the MP3 audio recordings the church makes of various talks. It will automatically download new recordings to your computer for you to listen to at your leisure. If you have an iPod, it will automatically “synch” them to the iPod.
